The Lord of Pleasure by Delilah Marvelle

Over the years it has been my pleasure to become acquainted with some amazing writers. Not just as artists, but as caring, kind people who go out of their way to help new writers and kick old writers in the ass from time to time. To honor those wonderful men and women who have helped me and countless others on the way, I will be featuring some of their delicious books. Everyone of these is a must read!

Delilah Marvelle is a stunning beauty, funny, flirty, and just a little bit bawdy where it counts. It's uncanny how much she resembles one of those outrageous heroines from her own Regency novels. When I took that first tentative step into the romance genre, Delilah was supportive, caring, encouraging, and unafraid to give me a good kick in the rear when I needed it. Below is her newest historical, The Lord of Pleasure. This is a delightfully charming, sexy, and compelling book everyone should read. Minnette :o)

DESPERATE TIMES LEAD TO DESPERATE PLEASURES....

Once upon a time Alexander William Baxendale, the Earl of Hawksford, was known to all of London and its besotted women as the Lord of Pleasure. Those days of frolicking, however, come to an abrupt end when he inherits not only the estate, but all of his responsibilities, including five, overzealous sisters and a not-so-proper mother. When Alexander meets the beautiful Lady Chartwell, he finds himself yearning for days of old. Left penniless by her philandering husband, Lady Chartwell survives financial ruin by turning to scandal and becoming the Conductor of Admissions to a school that educates men in the art of seduction. Alexander knows that desperate times call for desperate pleasures, but if he's lucky, it may very well lead him to a hell of a lot more.
